Finished Sheetrock

Here are some pics of the finished sheetrock.  They also patched some of the ceiling texture in the kitchen, but you can't really tell that from the pictures.  Also, there is no mud at the top for a reason.  It was going to be too expensive to scrape the ceilings of their texture so we could properly tape the joint between the wall and ceiling and then re-spray the ceiling texture.  So instead we opted to leave it and put up crown mould instead.  Lots cheaper!

New Sheetrock Hung

Last Thursday the sheetrock guys came and hung all the new sheetrock. Seeing how fast they worked and how much sheetrock there actually was to do, it was totally worth it to hire it done.  The finisher came on Friday to mud and tape all the joints.  He is finishing up today.  Here are some pics.
